Softball Ireland have received 16 entries for the 2015 IOST which will be held in the University of Limerick. The teams entered are listed below and we will be in contact in the coming days with regards to tournament format and details.

**** REMINDER IOST REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY ***
The University of Limerick will once more host the IOST in 2015. We have listened to feedback from 2014 and we are delighted to confirm that there will be no limit on the number of teams who may register for the tournament*.
Tournament details as follows:
Date: August 15/16, 2015
Venue: University of Limerick
Cost: €325 per team
The fee includes Umpires and balls.
To register your team please email iost2015@softball.ie by July 24, 2015.

*Please note that should there be more than 16 registered teams, Softball Ireland reserved the right to commence games at 0800 each morning and 1800 each evening

Opening day of the season for Softball Ireland saw 12 teams compete in glorious weather for the Brian Walshe Cup, Plate and Bowl.
The Slowpitch National Squad would like to thank you for all your support on the day and help in offsetting some costs of playing at the tournament in July.

Brian Walshe Cup 2015 Schedule
Softball Ireland wish to announce that the Brian Walshe Cup (formerly the Start of Season Blitz) has been moved back a week to Saturday April 18, 2015 to accommodate the Softball Ulster Start of Season Tournament. The tournament will still be held in ALSAA.
We would encourage teams to participate in both tournaments.
Softball Ireland has confirmed the tournament schedule for the 2014 IOST.
A total of 16 teams have entered the Softball Ireland showcase tournament which will be played at the University of Limerick Sports Grounds on August 16 & 17, 2014.
IOST 2014 will mark the first time 70 foot bases and the new .52/300 12 Inch Balls will be used in a National Softball Tournament in Ireland.

Games will commence at 0900 on both mornings and team Captains are invited to attend the Captains meeting on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 0830.

Softball Ireland are pleased to announce The Baseball & Softball Shop as the Official Game Ball supplier to Softball Ireland for the remainder of 2014. The IOST, Brian Walsh Cup and National Championships will all use Worth .50 COR and a compression of 300lbs supplied by the Baseball & Softball Shop.
