| 2009 Brian Walshe Cup Round 2 / Plate Round 1
Any team that loses their 2nd round cup fixture is eliminated from the cup, plate and bowl competition.
Any Leinster League Teams from Divisions 2 and 3 that lose their 1st round plate game will go into round 1 of the bowl.
For the purpose of deciding how far they can go in the cup, plate and bowl, UCD have been assigned the equivalent of Division 1 and the Belfast Brawlers have been assigned the equivalent of Division 2.
Any Team that gives a walkover will be out of the 2009 cup, plate and bowl competition.
