Irish Open Softball Tournament

The Irish Open Softball Tournament (I.O.S.T.) is Ireland's flagship weekend softball tournament. Traditionally held towards the end of the season outside of the Leinster region.

2011 IOST will be held in Limerick

The 2011 IOST will be held in the grounds of UL on the 20th and 21st of August. We are happy to be returning to University of Limerick after a few years away. The campus is ideally situated with the housing accomodations being centrally located on the UL campus and being in walking distance to the pitches and the BBQ on Saturday night.

The college has done a package deal for accommodation and for the Saturday night BBQ and the rates are as follows:

• Single person for two nights and the BBQ: €75
• Couple for two nights and the BBQ: €134
• Single for two nights: €58
• Couple for two nights: €100
• BBQ per person: €17

The Irish Open Softball Tournament entry fee is €275 and you can pay this online on www.softball.ie or if you prefer to pay by cheque, please contact umpires@softball.ie. All entry fees must be paid a minimum of 10 working days before the tournament as this is your guarantee of a space. Playing spaces are limited this year and entry will be on a first come, first served basis. We will be issuing updates as we get them and if you would like to sign up to receive these updates please send an e-mail to umpires@softball.ie.
